Submitting of an import declaration manually or through the EDI paperless system with
the following documents to Custom Department such as:
- Invoice / packing list
- Bill of lading (by Sea) or Airway bill ( By Air)
- Insurance premium invoice ( Term of Ex-work , FOB & C&F)
- Bill of entry
- Foreign Transaction form ( if value exceeds THB 500,000.00),
- Import licence (if applicable)
- Certificate of origin
- Other relevant documents such as catalogue/specification etc
- Form - D ( AFTA Origin) / FTA certificate ( if any )
- BOI permission in case of duty exemption
- Toxic licence ( in case of dangerous goods)
Duty assessment (In case not green line) Custom officer will check the declaration along with supporting documents attached. In addition custom tariff, tax duty calculation, valuation of goods is also examined.
Remark: In case green line Custom post review department will perform duty assessment after releasing of cargo
Inspection & release cargo: The next step is inspection of imported goods by Custom inspector and finally releases cargo from Custom Custody. Importers will submit the verified declaration together with the payment receipt at appropriate warehouse. Then Custom Inspectors will inspect the imported cargo against the declaration made. If the cargo inspected corresponds to the declaration made, The Custom officers will record the inspection result and release cargo to importers.
